Octo:Gone : The new Octo:Gone space is based on Valve's tracking technology (base station 2.0) to play the Octopod catalog experiences in free-roaming on a playground of about 100m² (8 * 11m) with high quality tracking.
An ultra-modular space that can accommodate up to 8 players, on 5 different playgrounds, 33 possible combinations of spaces and about twenty multiplayer games in the catalog.
Totally free of their movements, players can interact with their partners, communicate with them, move together on the whole surface chosen.
The Octo:Gone also allows you to share the space for several groups. You can for example launch a group of 4 players in 'Half' mode while hosting 4 other players on 2 different 'Room-scale' spaces.
This new space concentrates the best multiplayer VR games of the market and offers freedom, modularity, and an impressive profitability per square meter to propose free movement to its customers.

Use all the spaces of your room thanks to an adapted catalog
These spaces have been designed to allow the exploitation of games developed by the major partner studio, WanadevStudio, as well as by other studios present in the catalog and to use the best technology of each VR headset manufacturer based on their technical recommendations.
This division allows us to offer our customers an optimal experience to welcome players in the most stable operating conditions possible with a regularly renewed catalog. Furthermore, we recommend installing several types of spaces to make the most of the potential of VR.

Room-scale space
The room-scale space is the smallest free roaming space developed by Octopod. Players move freely with 2 people in an open room of 20m² using HTC/Valve 2.0 base station technology.
Free of their movements, players can interact with their partner, communicate directly with him and move on the whole surface of the room. Several room-scales can be installed in the same room, allowing groups to play together (up to 8 people).
This space is modular because it allows you to alternate between a free roaming room configuration or two box spaces with the same hardware. You can therefore play free roaming room-scale games or box games in this space.
The room-scale space has been created to offer players a non-reproducible experience at home, in free roaming, on an easily scalable and evolving space.

Box space
The box space (or pod) is the most common space in the world of virtual reality entertainment. Each player has his own play area (from 4 to 9m² per person). They can play with several players in the same session, communicate, and see each other in the game.
It is the most profitable space per square meter. It requires a small investment in equipment and is easy to operate. It is ideal for entrepreneurs who want to get started in virtual reality.
