Discover what's new in the latest version of Ragnarock!

The Octopod games catalog aims to adapt to all audiences and all spaces. Originally developed by WanadevStudio for LBE VR, Ragnarock takes up to 8 players on a frantic drakkar race set to Celtic rock/metal music.

Starting December 22, 2021, you'll be able to access the new version with significant updates. The Ragnarock license becomes more beautiful, more enriched, more immersive.

Concretely, directly from their Octopod:Play platform, Octopod partners can benefit from the game's evolutions for free. Here are some major changes:

GRAPHICS

• Visual update of the basic rowers/drums/hammers,
• New Viking avatar for players,
• Added 6 different environments associated with the different songs: Midgard, Alfheim, Nidavellir, Asgard, Muspelheim, and Helheim.

SONGS

• Added 3 very easy level songs: Join the Riot, Welcome to Asgard and Universe on Fire,
• Modification of the note mappings of the songs,
• Modification of the proposed playlists,
• Addition of a very easy Playlist.

FEATURES

• Modification of the combo system in 2 levels (explanations available in the game guide),
• Added emoticon machines behind the players to communicate in a funny way,
• End of game moved to the end of the playlist to be able to restart a player during the playlist,
• Removed the mini tutorial on the boat (runes to break). A real tutorial will be added soon,
• Removal of the voice chat (will be put back in option soon),
• Reset of leaderboards due to a system change.

Be careful though, there are some big new features, all leaderboards are reset.

And that's not all! To continue the enrichment of the license and improve the experience even more, new versions (2.1 and 2.2) will be deployed throughout the year 2022: a complete tutorial to learn how to hit the notes, use combos, a lobby, a voice chat, the translation of the game into French, female avatars, and especially many new songs!
