New address for Octopod VR!

Space and functionality: a necessary and long-awaited move

In the spring of 2023, nearly 80 people across the 4 brands of Wanadev were sharing the 3 floors of our offices at Rue Grenette, Lyon France. Yes, the team has grown steadily over the last few years and, above all, working methods have changed considerably: collaboration has never been more important and our habits have been turned upside down with the arrival of new activities such as ours at Octopod VR or such as YouRescue's, created as an intrapreneurship project.

With this in mind, we needed to recreate the environment that would allow us to be what we are: a collective of daring individuals exploring the digital world. This environment will be at the 900 m² of 13 Quai du Commerce, revisited and adapted to our needs.

Rooms designed to help Wanadev teams collaborate, including Octopod VR

Wanadev has designed this new address to encourage and pursue the alchemy between teams, the one that has made us evolve since 2009. By choosing to make collaboration between skills, we are lucky to be able to set up creative spaces and workspaces, which form and use can vary.

At Octopod, we have set up an 8×5m game showroom (Half Octo:Gone) to enable our clients to experiment our offer and to help our teams carry out their tests in real conditions.

Reception areas for events

The ability to host and organize events at our new address was a key aspect of the relocation project. Unfortunately, for several months now, we have not been able to comfortably host external events or organize internal plenary sessions. This change of address will allow us to resume hosting meetings, training sessions, and receptions beginning in September.

User-friendly spaces at the heart of the project

The "good atmosphere" is what people often say when they discover what it's like to work at Wanadev. Designing our address to preserve this aspect of the collective was a must. That's why we designed spaces for communal meals and breaks, both inside and out.

This new address marks a new chapter for Wanadev, with a major move, in line with the team's ambitions, and we look forward to welcoming you over a cup of coffee or tea.
